Why is tv boring now?

In the 80's and 90's they use to have tgif, they even had good shows on nickelodeon, even sports is boring sometimes, like when nba and ncaa basketball are on at the same time, it seems like espn stations mainly show college scores, games and highlights. No good tv shows on any more that are actually funny and doesn't mainly involve romance or dating. By the way, what happend to tgif? Its not on any more. What was the last tgif show? I think the last good decade for television are the 90's, those were some good times with classic shows. Did somebody take over the networks or something? Now all we see is reality. Please tv networks, put something that's actually funny on or at least entertaining!
Yeah i like lifetime and nick @ nite as well, its too bad shows like the beverly hillbillies and the wonder years don't come on nick @ nite any more like they use to.

Tgif was replaced by must see thursday and now that that's gone who knows? There's still some good shows out there, personally I love House, it's on fox on monday nights. Other than some other random shows I like to watch old reruns on Lifetime and Nick at Nite.
